Terms of Use

What MapLeadScout is today, what it is not yet, and who is responsible for how a collected list gets used.

1

Acceptance

By using mapleadscout.com, the MapLeadScout Chrome extension, or a requested dataset, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company.

2

What the service is today

MapLeadScout is currently a Chrome extension that collects public Google Maps business listings on your own device, plus a landing page and an email-based access request flow for the Pro and Agency plans described on the pricing page.

Accounts and the cloud dashboard described in the Platform roadmap on the home page are live. Self-serve Pro billing runs through a payment provider and may be in test mode while it is being verified. Nothing on this site should be read as an availability guarantee for a capability marked "in development" or "planned".

3

Data source and compliance responsibility

MapLeadScout helps you collect and organize publicly available business information. You are solely responsible for ensuring your own collection, storage, and outreach — including anti-spam, privacy, identification, and opt-out rules that apply in your jurisdiction. MapLeadScout is a data-collection tool, not a compliance service, and does not vet how you use an exported file.

4

Acceptable use

You agree not to use MapLeadScout to violate Google’s own Terms of Service beyond what the extension is designed to do on your behalf, to resell or sublicense a purchased dataset outside your own organization without permission, or to misrepresent MapLeadScout as an official Google, Meta, or WhatsApp product.

5

Pricing and billing status

Every plan on the pricing page currently routes through an email access request rather than live checkout — see the billing FAQ on that page for what is and is not confirmed yet. Prices shown are current intent, not a locked quote, until billing opens.

6

No warranty

Data quality and availability can change after the stated check date — see the data-quality methodology page for what a status label does and does not verify. The service, including any dataset, is provided without a warranty of completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

7

Trademarks

Google, Google Maps, Meta, and WhatsApp are trademarks of their respective owners. MapLeadScout is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them.

8

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product moves from the current extension-only stage into the connected platform described on the home page. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "last reviewed" date.
